The Star Full Race 2.0 Milwaukee-8 Cam is the pinnacle of the Star M8 camshaft lineup — engineered for maximum performance in serious big-inch Milwaukee-Eight builds. With .627" lift and an intake closing point of 54° ABDC, the Full Race 2.0 is purpose-built for 135+ cubic inch engines and high-revving 124–133 cubic inch builds that demand every bit of available power. This is not a bolt-and-go cam — installation requires an experienced builder to verify spring capabilities, coil bind, installed heights, and piston-to-valve clearances before startup. Done right, the Full Race 2.0 delivers a true racing cam sound and a powerband that dominates from 3,000 RPM all the way to 7,000.
High performance valve springs and lifter guide upgrades are required. Star M8 Valve Spring Kit (640SK-2) and Star Gold Lifter Guides (M8726LG) are recommended.

Exhaust pairing matters: Star Cams will perform with all pipe configurations, but exhaust selection has a meaningful impact on results. Short exhaust systems create sound wave differentials that negatively affect low-RPM tune quality — a condition that cannot be fully corrected through tuning alone. For the smoothest low-end torque curve, a long 2-into-1 exhaust is strongly recommended. Trusted options include D&D, Fuel Moto, Bassani, ThunderHeader, and Krome Werks.
Experienced installer required — builder must verify spring capabilities, coil bind, installed heights, and piston-to-valve clearances prior to startup. This is not a standard bolt-on installation.
